Google Slides

1. Create a new Google Slides Presentation.  Depending on the use, change the format by going to FILE --> PAGE SETUP
   1. If you are using it like a real notebook, change the page size to CUSTOM (8.5 x 11); this will allow you to 'paste' handouts in it without losing shape.
   2. If it is going to be more freeform, you ccan keep the normal size.
2. Add the template pages students will need (Table of Contents, sample pages, formatting, etc.)
3. On the FIRST or SECOND Page, add any student instructions (see the sample notebook below)
4. If there are instructions for the students you can add them in the NOTES section at the bottom of the page.
5. Once you are finished, you can share your teplate with your students as a sample or base notebook.

They can be used for:

• Online notebooks
• Digital Portfolios (Summative/End of Year, Formative/Collecting Work)
• Storing Notes/Research for Papers / Study / Writing
• and more
