Hapara

The image displays the text %22SOFTWARE: HAPARA%22 in a bold, stylized font against a plain white background.

Hapara is a Chromebook monitoring software, used to monitor, redirect, and support student learning.     It only works on Chromebooks or comupters where the students are 1) using the Chrome browser and 2) signed into the browser with their school account.  If a student is working on a PC/Mac and not signed in with Chrome, you will not be able to monitor their activity.

Due to the sensitive nature of this software, it is only active during school hours (0-9th period) and is inactive before/after school and on weekends.

Hapara Reminders

1.   Hapara accesses your Google Classroom rosters.  If you have students enter/leave your class, make sure you add/drop them in Google Classroom and then SYNC your class in Hapara

2.  If you are utilizing the pause screen, freeze tabs, or focus/filter actions, make sure you end the session and release all of their Chromebooks before releasing them from your class.
