In this class you will learn how to creatively problem solve and tackle artistic challenges, while learning lifelong skills such as persistence, reflection, observation, and self-critique. You will design and create 3D objects using a variety of materials, techniques, and processes. You will make choices as to what to apply to your work, demonstrating an understanding of how to solve artistic problems in unique and expressive ways. Materials used include newspaper, gesso, paint, cardboard, wire, and clay. Finally, students learn how to creatively solve problems and tackle artistic challenges, while learning lifelong skills such as persistence, reflection, observation, and self-critique.
